Blue ,white & Green – Renewable Energy Opportunities for Israeli companies worldwide

Although it might not be felt so much in Israel, the world is going through what is probably the most important financial, technological and commercial transition it had ever known. In the heart of these changes is the shift a transformation in the way energy is being generated and shared, hand in hand with a complete environment /resource – business/ growth paradigm shift. It will most likely influence every corner of our life for the next 100 years. Israel has an enormous untapped potential in these fields. Understanding the playing field, the main players and the moves better will give everyone a clearer picture of the possibilities and threats. New paradigms need to be reconstructed; innovation to implementation, the acceptance barrier, the new partnership paradigm, the open source approach for clean tech and a commercial / financial cradle to cradle are few examples. From numerous reasons (for example, the first time ever in history of a power-shift away from oil and into technology) I truly believes, as many others do, that Israel as a whole and companies/ individuals in it has the potential to benefit from this transformation more than any other nation on earth.
